Solar Manufaktur/Irene Lucas combines energyautonomous cooking with new urban ecologies of art and life. We cook with the sun, ferment and celebrate the finale of the Mothering Communities project.

Irene Lucas works on place-based education, new urban ecologies and identity. Her participatory and collaborative interventions, developed in collaboration with artist Christoph Euler, are positioned between visual art, activism, food culture and education. In sol.lab.zones, Irene Lucas/Solar Manufaktur, the art project Mosaik and Blubbergarten test forms of energy-autonomous cooking, zero waste, circular food and upcycling.
